It's been two years. Nash has definitely progressed into a sexy handsome hottie undercover agent for Rahmi. He's been successful in his mission and ready to return to Keeneston and he's never forgotten Sophie. Sophie is smarter, still beautiful, sexy and sassy and she has been quite successful in her ventures. We had a cliff hanger last book with Nash & Sophie but we find their troubles have just started. This romantic suspense starts out strong and builds rather rapidly and nicely. I'm laughing one minute and on the edge of my seat the other. It is interspersed with humor. It's amazing how much humor you can bring to a romance with a taser and a good fart! The bad guys are pretty bad and you may think that the Keeneston townfolk have met their match. There are definitely some ugly and tense twists that I didn't anticipate. Sophie and Nash are able to fight their way toward a hopeful HEA. We're left with another cliff hanger but if your an avid reader of Kathleen's series, it will just wet your appetite for more..

Not once have I not enjoyed a single Bluegrass Story, this author has an understanding of human nature that truly amazes me and never lets me down!
I have said it before, if you simply hate life, and are hiding, read a Kathleen Brooks novel and tomorrow is certain to be much better, as well as going to bed that evening smiling.πππππππππππ
I wish I can give more than five star to this book oh my gosh you have done it again this book is absolutely captive I have read all your books so far and I have to say I have not been disappointed yet I will not spoil the story explaining you to the you guys you just have to take and leap and buy the book and I can guarantee you you will not regret it the book is funny captive I laughed my ass off as I was reading the book once I started the book I could put it down I could put it down I had to take a break from studying for my board exam just to read the book and the only thing I can say is that I was very sad when I reach to the episode because I know the book is coming to an end and I have to wait God knows for how long for the year installment you are just the I hate I mean there was so much younger and love and drama and it's just like I see so many options for auto books and I can't wait I'm like so specialist That's How Much I Love the book and I think it was the bomb diggity bomb it was good and when I mean good it was very good so now I'm like in a limbo whose baby I don't know I mean those guys are so funny and follow up to the sisters because they were sisters it would not be the same without them and I wish they live on forever because I don't see them and it's just very funny and I am enough the book very much and I look forward into the next installment
Loved the book. Sophie and Nash walked away from their love for each other 2 years prior. During that separation, Sophie was busy developing weapons and Nash was a security officer, for his country, undercover taking down Poseidon's Red Shadow organization that kidnapped women and children from his country into the sex trade. Right before Nash killed Poseidon he was told that Sophie was in danger from a man named Aries that wanted her smart missile that she developed for the US. Nash and Sophie meet back up when she is being kidnapped in London and Nash helps her get away. They return to Keeneston where the entire down is brought in to help Nash keep Sophie alive. I love the townspeople of Keeneston. They are such a riot and so much fun. Sophie and Nash's love blooms again, but she gets kidnapped by Aries. Read the book to see if they get their HEA.
What the heck happened between Sophie Davies and Nash Dagher? So much mystery and emotion simmered in the air whenever these two were mentioned in the prior books. Sophie clearly was hurt and bewildered, while Nash was just….gone. Disappeared into the world, maybe on a mission for the King of Rahmi, maybe not even alive. Meanwhile Sophie herself was often missing from Keeneston, touching base with dad Cade and mom Annie in between “work” trips so secretive you weren’t sure even the town “know-it-alls” knew what was going on! But when Sophie’s work developing weapons for a private company under contract with the Department of Defense puts her in the crosshairs of some very, very dangerous people, Nash appears to protect Sophie and
Finally, finally, we learn of the mysteries surrounding Sophie and Nash’s relationship, and their respective work. Although in prior books you never really saw a lot of engagement between the two, the story’s “atmosphere” was always thick with unnamed emotions when their names were said. When these two are together, passions of all kinds explode! As always, Kathleen Brooks has crafted a well-written, engaging, suspenseful book populated with our beloved Keeneston residents, from the Davies clan to the Rose sisters!
